I can’t install any version of live messenger because it says do me that i have installed a new version and i must uninstall it firts!!!!!

  1. After upadating some MS-Live components, rebooting my XP-SP3 system causes explorer to open a window that contain folder c:\Program Files\Microsoft\Search Enhancement Pack
I searched the web and found something that is supposed to uninstall “search enhancemnet pack”. I ran it and it seemed to uninstall something, but rebooted yields the same results–open window.
Is there any help short of uninstalling and re-installing all Live products? That scares me more than living with this problem.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  4. Sanix,
Does the uninstaller allow you to selectively choose which components to uninstall? For example, can I choose to uninstall “Search Enhancement Pack”, only?
