Windows 7 RC version was available for download from Microsoft’s Technet site but it’s unavailable now. But the enterprise version of Windows 7 can be downloaded even now. But first you should make sure that all your hardware is compatible with Windows 7 and that your PC is suitable for Windows 7 Upgrade. You can download Microsoft Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor and test your system for possible compatibility problems.

Here are the general system requirements of Windows 7:

  • 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
  • 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
  • 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
  • DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

    I don’t see a download link on that page. Is there another source? Is this just the RC that was released previously that the activation crack will work on?

    Squirly, thanks alot for pointing out the problem. At first I couldn’t understand what you meant. When I went through the link, Microsoft had stopped the hotlinking of the file. That’s why it was not opening. Now I have given the correct link where you have to login with your Windows live account to access the download.
