When Windows Vista was released, there was a lot of confusion about how many editions did it have and what were the features of each edition. Abdullah explained in detail in his article about Windows Vista Editions. Now that Windows 7 has been released, I thought I’d better write about all Windows 7 Editions. Even though people have got used to Microsoft different editions for the same product strategy, but it’s important for us to understand what are the differences among all these editions of Windows 7.

Please note that the only difference between Windows 7 Ultimate Edition and Windows 7 Enterprise Edition is that the Enterprise Edition is distributed via distributors.
