Have you ever wished to make a small audio clip from your favorite movie song. If yes then here is the way to do so by using Windows movie Maker.
To open Windows Movie Maker click on Start>All Programs>Windows Movie Maker or you can simply type the run command as “moviemk.exe” without quotes.
Click on Import audio or music in the task Pane under Capture video.
Now Import the music file which you want to make a clip. Right click on the audio file in Collection pane and select add to Timeline or you can drag the file to the timeline or press Ctrl+D.
In the timeline you will see a bar displaying time of the clip. Click on it where you want to set the start trim point then press Ctrl + Shift + I . Similarly click on the timeline bar where you want to set the end trim point. Now press Ctrl + Shift + O .
Now drag the trimmed audio clip to the extreme left such that there is no gap to the left of the clip.
You can press “Page Up” to zoom out the timeline and “Page in” for zoom in which makes it easy to locate a clear start & end trim point.
Right click on the trimmed clip and select both Fade In & Fade Out which will bring clarity in your clip.
Now press Ctrl+P to save the movie project which will be saved in .wma format.
