Norton products behave as a virus or malware when someone tends to remove them from his computer. This is atleast not a problem for me as I don’t use any Norton product. But if you have installed one of the following Norton products and they are not getting uninstalled from the control panel, Norton itself provides a tool for removing its products safely.

- Norton SystemWorks 2003 through 2008
- Norton Confidential Online 2007
- Norton Internet Security 2007 Add-on Pack 1.0 and 2.0
- Norton Save and Restore 1.0 and 2.0
- Norton 360 1.0 through 1.3
Norton removal tool version 2008.0.1.19 will only work for the above mentioned products. Please note that you should only use Norton removal tool only if the Norton product you want to uninstall is not getting removed from the control panel. Here’s the download link for Norton Removal Tool:
